What Sisolvy is

Sisolvy is a collection of online calculators built around one idea: the calculator comes first, the working is always shown, and where a tool depends on regulations or tax rates, the official source and the date it was last checked are printed on the page.

How the calculators are built

Everything runs in your browser. There is no server doing the arithmetic, which means nothing you type is transmitted or stored. Regulatory values live in one central place in the site so they can be reviewed and updated without touching the calculators themselves.

Sources

Hours of service rules are summarised from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. IFTA rates come from IFTA, Inc. Neither is taken from blogs, competitor calculators or forums.

If a calculator returns something wrong, please report it through the contact page with the exact figures you entered.
