Every calculator on this site is a planning and arithmetic aid. None of them is an official system of record, and none should be treated as professional advice.

Hours of service and sleeper berth

The trucking calculators are unofficial planning aids built from published FMCSA rules. They report calculated hours, time windows and the assumptions used. They deliberately do not tell you whether you are compliant — that depends on your full record of duty status, your ELD and your carrier’s policies.

The rules are summarised from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. The version and the date last verified are shown under each calculator. FMCSA also operates pilot programmes that apply only to enrolled drivers; the calculators do not apply those.

IFTA

The IFTA calculator estimates quarterly figures. It is not an official tax filing service. Rates must be verified against the official IFTA, Inc. matrix, and the date they were last checked is shown on the page. Surcharges, interest and penalties are not included.

Sleep

The sleep calculator provides estimates based on average sleep-cycle length. It is general information, not medical advice, and makes no claim to diagnose, prevent or treat any condition. Speak to a qualified healthcare professional about persistent sleep problems.

Grades

Grading scales differ between institutions. The letter grades shown follow the most common US convention; your syllabus is the authority.
